Read this, it's a good story. It was pretty much the opposite of what happened with Carpe Fulgur. They struggled to get a good game released in the US, and they left the child nudity intact.

I want the other Princess Maker games to be translated, not just 5 or whatever they're working on now.

I guess it would be difficult for most hobbyists, though. Apparently PM2 took a lot of effort because they wrote the game in x86 assembly and a custom interpreted language.
