What? I ... may have said that in jest or something? Or in a moment of frustration? I neither hate it nor consider it garbage. It's not exactly very well written compared to what I write these days, but it's fun and readable and such. There's some things about it I would do very differently if I was going to do it all over again, but it's far from being pandering garbage. It was a success, regardless of how inexpert it may have been.
