If you don't like SEED then you're not a true fan of Gundam. Here's a comparison between Gundam SEED and 0079.

Gundam 0079:

11. The desperate enemy reveals a giant laser beam cannon and threatens to use it on Earth.
12. The main character defeats the masked man and prevents the giant laser cannon from being used. The credits roll.

I argue that Touhou is not popular inside of the "otaku community." The day Touhou sells 4 million units, and gets 12 million+ ratings on TV. I'll say it's popular.

Gundam (ironically) is even a more popular game than Touhou. And you and me both know how shitty the Gundam games are.

GundaMobile Suit: Gundam vs. Gundam sold 240,594 units in its first "week." ZUN is an independent game developer, so if Touhou could manage to sell half of that amount, ZUN would be rich. But clearly that isn't the case. Why aren't the Touhoufans supporting their favorite game designer?

Touhoufags have their heads shoved so far up their asses that they actually think Touhou is popular outside Japan. For example. If I was to tell you that there was more Naruto fanart than Touhou. You'd probably think I was crazy. That's because Touhou is the only fanart that you surround yourselves with. Completely ignorant to the other shows out there.

There are many breeds of casual gamers. The following is a list of them.

1.Someone who only plays popular games like Halo, Madden, and GTA.
2.Someone who only plays *short arcade games.
3.Someone who's new to gaming. (This breed of casual gamer buys games at random. We all start off at this level).

Touhou unfortunately falls under category number two. Some butthurtin arcade fags might say it's an opinion, but to the hardcore gamers who have over two hundred+ hours on Dragon Quest 7, I'm sure you can understand where they're coming from. Touhou is nothing more than an action game. As a matter of fact, it's games like Touhou that gives video games (in general) a childish reputation with the mainstream media. The mainstream America still sees games as "completing level three." Or "beating the highscore."
