"I - Huh." Tenshi remarked, placing a bundle of items on the ground. "Is she still moping over her arm?"

"Er, she doesn't seem to be...?" Yamame scratched her head. She'd come into that whole situation very uninformed and still didn't feel like she had a perfect grasp on the whole thing. "I think they're friends now." There was something bugging her about the rooftop here, and she crouched down to get a better look.

Tenshi nodded, following her gaze down to the rooftop. "At least something's going well, then." She squatted down next to Yamame. "When I saw that she was free again, I figured we'd all be done for, your boyfriend included. Glad it didn't come to that." She ran a finger across the wood. "Is this...?"

"Cracked, I think." Yamame replied, absent-mindedly pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear and pulling a needle from the inside of her sleeve. "It looks like it. Hasn't broken through yet, but the water will get into that." She slipped the needle into the crack and experimentally ran it across. "I...Think we'll have to replace the whole section." She decided, slipping the needle back into her sleeve.

Yamame expected Tenshi to argue against it, but she looked on silently, then nodded. "I think so..." She looked like she had something on her mind. "Can I...Ask you a question?" Tenshi said quietly. Yamame looked over at her, curious, then nodded. "You - Um, do you get on well with your family?" Tenshi asked her hesitantly, and perhaps even slightly nervously.

It...hadn't been the question that Yamame expected. She'd expected some sort of pointed question about her relationship with her human, or perhaps something more about the Hot Springs. Not...That. "Er...Yes, I suppose so?" She finally said, though it felt like a strange conversation. "Um, why do you ask?"

Tenshi looked up at her, and Yamame was surprised to see that she looked a little nervous. "Can you keep it a secret from Reimu and Marisa?" Yamame slowly nodded, but asked about her human. "You can tell him. I trust him to keep it a secret." She spoke. "You've probably heard them call me an ex-celestial, right?"

"Um, yeah. I've heard that." Yamame replied, still wondering where this was headed. The ex-celestial in question looked vulnerable. Like Nai did when she'd made a mistake that she felt bad about.

"My father exiled me. I haven't seen my family since, and I don't know if I ever will again." Tenshi told her, her voice only wavering slightly when she mentioned her father. "I'm the eldest daughter of the Hinanawi clan. I had brothers and sisters, too, but...I don't think any of them liked me much." Personally, Yamame could think of one or two reasons why that might be, but it would have been cruel to say it, and she wouldn't do such a thing. "I just - You have such a big family and you all like each other. I never really got to experience that." Yamame watched Tenshi for a moment. She'd never really thought of someone being envious of her family before. Still, she seemed down, so Yamame tried her best to talk to her.

"I don't just like them." She said, smiling gently. "I love them. They're precious to me, of course. Sometimes they make me so frustrated that I want to tear my hair out, but at the end of the day, I know that I can rely on them to support me, and they can rely on me to support them." Ki, especially, frustrated her to no end, and the less she said about Yura's determination to inherit Ki's inability to act her age, the better. If she didn't know better, she'd have assumed that Ki was some sort of troublemaker youkai rather than her troublemaker elder sister.

She thought about her human. His family had died in horrible circumstances and every now and then, she'd catch him gritting his teeth in his sleep, like he was having a nightmare. And yet, he was probably right below her right now, talking to Reimu - who he considered his family.
"But I might never see my family again." Tenshi quietly said, looking down at her hands, which were clasped together in front of her. "And they might never even want to see me again. So...What have I got?" She looked sad. Her human would probably be throwing hugs left and right at this point, but she felt like she should say something more, and her human's generally curious behaviour seemed like a good starting point.
