The underwater room was a mess, artifacts, gemstones and knick-nacks lay haphazardly around the room.
Wakasagihime was dashing around her treasury in a frantic panic talking to herself
"Where could it be, I can't go without it."
As another gemstone fell discarded to the sea floor she swam to the top of the room.
"Of course, how could I forget."
As she dug a small box from a hidden alcove and popped it open she let out a deep sigh.
"There you are, oh Kagerou is absolutely going to love you!"
With the treasure safely in her hands the mermaid princess makes a mad dash out of her home, leaving it looking like a school of sharks had passed through it.

Up top a lonely werewolf is sitting with her head resting in her hands.
"Where could she be, there is no way she would miss today of all days"
It was the monthly outing with Waggy-chan and she was late, Kagerou had started to grow worried.
Closing her eyes she tried not to imagine what could have happened to her.
"Sometimes she just gets distracted, it's fine... I'm sure"
As if on que with a big splash Wakasagihime bursts out of the lake, landing half on land with a big smile on her face and holding her hands out to the werewolf.
"Kagerou-chan! I hope I didn't keep you waiting"
With a jolt Kagerou jumps up and after a moment grasps down at the princesses hands
"Of course you did, what were you doing this time? Did you get lost sorting out the trash from the mansion again?"
"No, they don't let me swim around there anymore. I was actually looking for this!"
She pushes the little gemstone to Kagerous hand.
"Isn't it pretty? The blue shade truly shines in the sunlight!"
Opening her hands Kagerou finds herself holding a blue gemstone with a thin necklace attacked to it.
Holding it up so the light catches the stone, it shines brightly showing its almost flawless surface.
"It really is, I guess it makes sense to dress up for today"
Accepting the reason for the princess lateness Kagerou hands the gemstone back.
"Of course, I need to keep up appearances after all"
Taking the gemstone back Wakasagihime ties it around her neck and then holds her hands out once more
"Shall we go then?"
With a practiced ease Kagerou takes her hands and lifts her up on her shoulders and starts walking towards the wooden barrel located a little ways behind her.
Waggy happily examines her gemstone as she is carried over and dumped into the barrel which is filled with water that overflows as she enters.
"There we go, where shall her highness visit today then?"
Kagerou asks with a mocking bow as she takes her place behind the barrel.
"I was thinking of paying a visit to my good friend Kagerou-chan today, in the bamboo forest"
Waggy replies with a sly smile.
"As she whisesh"
And with that, Kagerou begins to push the barrel. With the wheels installed at the bottom it begins to roll relatively easily, even with all the weight from the water and the princess inside it.
