So here's some monster girl trivia we've gotten courtesy of KC answering questions on Patreon. I'll reword the info for clarity but you can view KC's words in full here: http://monstergirlsredux.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1164&start=40

1. The spell of anthropomorphosis can be used instinctively rather than learned, allowing women who have recently monsterized to hide their changed form. In fact, monsterized humans are often better at using anthropomorphosis than natural born monsters since they were human originally.

2. While its not that unusual for a monster girl's home to be reinforced/sturdy, it's not something the average home has either. Monsters are only overwhelming strong at "maximum output", and are good enough at controlling their strength that even a wurm is likely to accidentally break a door by knocking on it and such.

3. Undead being able to reproduce applies to those with entirely spiritual bodies as well, like phantoms and will-o-wisps, since they are a "race" rather than just a spirit.

4. A cupid has four wings and they are shaped like hagoromo, i.e. something variously translated as heavenly raiment, a robe of feathers, a feather mantle, heavenly kimono of tennin, etc.

5. The blue and red lines extending from a chimaera's shoulders are lines of magical power. They do not hinder her movement given they are made of mana, and they simply extend if she raises her arms.

6. The "treasure ball/jewel" on the chest of every dragon family monster is a solidification of the dragon's mighty magic that is formed from her body. If it is removed she simply grows another one. The jewel can be used in the creation of various magical tools and armors.

7. Wyverns can breathe fire, though the fire is not as powerful as dragon fire.

8. The "hands" covering the ryu's breasts are not hands but scales that grow in the shape of hands.

9. Oomukades have a shell with centipede legs attached on their upper arms, though it is hard to see in the profile image. As with so many parts, they often make it disappear during sex.

10. Krakens are mysterious beings. Part of their "clothing" is actually a membrane their body grows, and part of it is real clothes they wear. But it is not clear where one ends and the other begins.

Pretty sure they are ears (or rather, scaly flaps of skin connected to their ears). All the MGE lizard and dragon monsters have them, and to my knowledge we've never see any normal ears on them despite their heads being drawn from lots of angles.

I do think it was a missed opportunity for KC to not detail the wyvern's abilities more. Right now all they have over dragons in terms of abilities is being faster and more agile. Assuming they lack a breath weapon, it would have been nice to give them a stinger tail to make up for it.

But hey, even if (and that's a big if) they can't breath fire they probably can learn fire magic or other attack spells.

More like six or seven stories tall judging by that image, but indeed it would be a lot of work.

I wonder how closely we can estimate the height of the primal form wyvern in that image. A lot of the windows in the castle are different sizes, and judging by the size of the walkway doorways the entrance to the castle at the bottom is substantially taller than a person.

The walkway doorway looks to be about a half inch on the image, and we can say at full size its at least six feet high. The wyvern is about five inches tall in the image, so assuming the previous measurement is right then at full size she'd indeed be at least sixty feet tall.

Depends on the setting. KC dragons all have some sort of gem or other odd structure embedded in their chest, at least in humanoid form.

Also, up close I'd say you'd be able to tell fiends generally lack scales while dragons have scales.

Ya know, I just noticed that the art of the wyvern's primal form lacks the chest gem/ornament that all the dragons in humanoid form have (and in fact has an indentation around where it would have been).

So perhaps the purpose of that gem is to hold the primal form when not in use? Or maybe it is itself a condensed version of their primal form?
