They found both. Akagis name was even visible on the hull. All in all Akagi appears to be in better shape, with most of Kagas superstructure gone.

Given the depth i wonder why all the parts are so close to the main hull. I mean, Titanics parts are several hundred meters away, Hood is literally splattered across the ocean floor, here everything lies around the ship.
Also, the crater in the ground is much smaller as in , like, Akagis or Bismarcks case.
Probably most of the stuff separated on the way down, or on ground impact?
