I'm pretty sure azusa is taking her idol carreer very serious with the amount of time and effort she puts into sns, streaming and youtube etc
can't say about the others
but I think their main appeal is their live shows anyway
their rock-ish(?) songs in combination with their hyped up fans, chanting, jumping even lifting if allowed, makes their shows one of the most enjoyable shows among idols if you're a party type wota

she wasn't fired but her activities were suspended during april
which didn't mean shit since all of their activities were cancelled because of corona in the first place
but I guess she couldn't use twitter, insta etc.
she said she'll be serious from now on
so they aren't really prepared to punish any of their members for dating, giving them no incentive not to
I still believe there are girls in the group that are serious about their activities but your scepticism wouldn't be unjustified
