It's pretty amazing that an author/artist can promote something and hypocrites can completely dislike it and say it's irrelevant to the overall product because it don't offend anyone.
It really annoys me how these tumblr people create blogs dedicated towards Higurashi yet completely disregard the author, his passion and his vision.

They still don't fucking understand Ryukishi's whole ''if they are naked, it's as though the character is losing their humanity since clothes is what makes a person human'' but nope, it's all about fanservice.

The Leaf Fight Cards would likely be seen as just Ryukishi being wacky.

Ryukishi knows his audience he writes for and he knows fetishes.
It's funny.
He condemns child abuse yet not a single loli in his work doesn't get the shit beaten out of them.

He shows it but doesn't promote it.
It really shows the brutality and doesn't shy of how terrible it is.
However, he knows that people love loli. And there's nothing wrong with loving lolis, especially when he writes that murder is okay if you do it with friends among weird morals.
