just clicking on them should work. maybe you have all the units' slots occupied? that silver chest specifically reward with a random SSR+ unit or allow you to choose a SSR+ unit you like.

(if is the second case I suggest you to keep the chest sitting in the inventory. you will choose a SSR unit in later date when your collection is almost complete and avoid a dupe)
