What was barbaric was the fact that it was still not too clear that orange wouldn't sink. That coupled with the sha-sha-sha-don gauntlet made sure that you aborted pretty much every run because one ship or another went to the orange, damage controls were a must if you wanted a shot at the boss. I remember having 5k fuel remaining at E5 with an empty gauge and going into boss with Kirishima in orange, my heart damn near burst through my mouth when I saw the BB princess target her. And again when she survived and Kitakami broke the gauge.

On my part, though, what hurt the most was the lack of Ooi, whom I got some 5 months later.
