Perhaps because of that, depending on the person's qualities and personality, she may even blossom to have the makings of an “inari (Encyclopedia I – p. 200)”, a monster who devotedly serves her partner.

Their designs are super lacking, both in terms of their appearance and older art quality. Ghost foxes on the other hand he done a great job with, they seriously need more love.

When it comes to OCs and other foxes though, no one even pretends they're KC's inari or youko. Everyone just calls it a fox or kitsune when they post and don't even try to tie it into MGE.

That said, Koyoi is probably the sexiest non-profile girl KC has ever drawn.

Assuming energy gotten from food (regular and otherwise) would not be enough to enable them to keep up a disguise indefinitely, they could simply only lose the disguise in the privacy of their homes.

Then there are the girls like dhampirs and kitsune tsuki who to everyone but men they have sex with appear utterly human without any disguise needed.

As for lack of knowledge of how to act in society, that wouldn't apply to monsterized women (who would pop up and spread before a large response to monster girls could occur).

Getting DNA tests on every woman in cities of millions of people would also be a nightmarish and expensive thing to accomplish.
