In one of the Roa memories he's teaching Nero the Soil of Genesis and telling him that he wants him to use it to trap someone. It's probably about Arc. It's possible that he asked Nero to travel to japan in few years and meet with his next reincarnation so they can pokeball Arc. Because of SHIKI business, Roa forgot/coudn't meet with Nero but he decided to do it solo then. He used SoG on her, she brake free but it cost her lots of energy which is why she's tired.
