I've been compared to Kirisame quite a few times, to the point where it's become something of a nickname.

It stems from... apparently, the way I behave with others. That, my passing fascination with mycology and my attempts to hide my studies.
It's kinda embarassing, when you strive for months and months to do something and then fail. It stings less if others think you just *went* for it. y'know?
I admit I can be an obnoxious jerk, but sometimes being by myself with my work is an exercise in futility that leads to depression. So I need company.

So I'll get a friend to spend time with me, somehow. Even if it's pestering someone to play something with me. I guess I exude that same Marisa-ness when I'm with them, though.

I don't find it bothersome to be compared to her, though. I don't think Marisa is a bad person, but she's got her flaws. But hey, don't we all?
