Shiraishi isn't my top in terms of looks, but for me it's not hard to see or understand that she has the kind of looks that are seen as objectively beautiful by many people's standards and and why she has such as broad appeal. Is there some effect by marketing? Sure, but acting like she doesn't mog the majority of idols is either trying too hard to be a contrarian, having awful taste, or her not personally being your type, and the latter would be fine if you had enough self-awareness that to be the case without acting like it's some mass conspiracy against your tastes.

I don't even know what's going on, but it seems mentally ill.
