Nendos are slightly larger, poseable, and always have a smiling face. Fumos are slightly smaller, always sitting down, and the different characters have different faces. Which one you like more is really just a matter of taste.

Fakes vary from really bad to just bad. It's easy to tell if you know what to look for (read the earlier posts starting at >>12929620 for an example) but can hard if you don't. If something is too low a price or being shipped from China, it's almost always a bootleg.
