I know. After I took up encoding seriously, I'd rather encode everything myself (of course there are exceptions too). I have total control over the filters and options so I can get the quality I'm seeking. Encoding time is not an issue for me.

I am aware. It's rather meaningless to upscale and I've already explained (with my limited knowledge) the reasons a few threads ago.

Here, open the image with Winrar and see the difference for yourself. Original is the 1080i file. I don't have PS installed yet so I can't join the images and post them directly (still recovering from the HDD crash).
