I understand your sentiments. I don't believe in the "waifu" stuff, but I really value Mokou. I don't like the artist who makes dumb mokou memes. It bothers me because the artist portrays her as a fake caricature version that looks like her and not who she is. Then again, this is a problem that many other characters face. I just wish things like that didn't get popular, but it can't be helped. You just have to remember that the most important thing is what you feel for her than what others think. Besides, if you think about it, Mokou has probably been called worse than a "meme" in her life.
