That remilla was in the WF showcase so it doesn't surprise me that it was released outside it. I personally wasn't interested, I was more interested in picking up the Volks Miku.

Mass produced PVC figures? No, only a few become highly sought after depends on how popular it is in contrast with how limited it's first run was. And even so it only stays high for a few years before people stop giving a shit.

Garage Kits however are total gold. It is very rare for GKs to get mass produced as a kit, so most of them are event only and have runs under 1000 units. the market is also flooded with bootlegs with the void this creates, so genuine first print kits sell for a goddamn shitload.

This here is a good example, it's the Volks 1/6 miku GK put out at wonfest '08 last feb. I bought it for around 13,000yen iirc, and if I didn't put it together myself already I bet I could sell this for quite a lot online.
