Hai, Rin and Rider's stories tie together in the fact that Rin goes crazy in her story line and at the end Archer and Rider are the two to stop her. In Rider's story it has her teaming with Archer (which thank god makes her's the easiest route I've played so far, you just let Archer tank while you defend him) to find and stop Rin.
