If Shannon is in fact Beatrice, one important question should be "Why does she die in the first twilight?" The purpose of Beatrice's game, after all, is directed at Battler, so dying in the first twilight seems like some pretty tough luck.

HowEVER, the possibility I've been considering (tying in with my theory that Nanjo is the killer in that game), is that if Shannon is Beatrice, she's already confirmed that Battler has no memory of the things she's trying make him remember. Image related. So, in that case, she just might not care anymore. Beatrice, whoever she is, certainly doesn't seem to mind dying in Episode 4 after Battler blows her off. Why not in this game as well?

Shannon recruits Nanjo, who was already involved with her scheme, and the two of them kill the rest of the victims, and then she has Nanjo kill her. All he has to do then is lock up the room and put the key back in her pocket when he's examining her the following morning.

Hehe. Hahahaha.

Oh god, I think I've got things almost in hand now. Another day or so and I think I'll have solved everything.

Hints:
Kyrie is the killer and mastermind in Eps 3 and 5.
Shannon is the killer and mastermind in Episode 4.
Kanon is the killer in Episode 1, and Jessica is the mastermind.
Genji is the killer in Episode 2, and Rosa is the mastermind.
By 'mastermind', I refer to the person planning and coordinating all the actions of the killer and any other accomplices. Killers in one game might be accomplices in another depending on what alliances are made. For example, Kanon helped Shannon with the killings in Episode 4.

Also:

Shannon is Beatrice.
Kyrie is the person on the phone.
Battler is Kyrie's son, taken from her after Asumu miscarried, and then misreported to Kyrie. Rudolph did this.

And one more: Battler's 'sin' is the same as Dante's- he didn't confess his love to Beatrice.

"Without love, the truth cannot be seen.", right?

It is going to end with Battler and Beatrice turning against Bern and Lambda, and creating a miracle despite the astronomical odds against them, maybe thanks to a final spell Kinzo put into place or the epitaph or something. That 'one in a quadrillion' chance. If you buy into the idea that Beatrice is a second personality hidden in someone's mind, the prizes of the epitaph, particularly the 'putting the witch to rest for all eternity' kind of make sense, putting it in the context of healing whatever wound made her necessary in the first place.

Battler x Shannon. You heard it here first. He even said she was probably his first crush. If Beatrice is in her mind, that might explain why Beatrice hates Shannon so much for going out with George. 'Reviving the lost love' and Battler's 'sin' are probably referring to Battler promising to come back and marry Shannon someday, but of course he's forgotten since it was just a silly comment and it was 6 years ago.

I have a harder time believing it could possibly be anyone else at this point. Who the hell else could it have been? Maria was and is too young, George is too mature and is too interested in Shannon to go acting out some kind of gay lover murder/suicide pact. The adults don't take what the children take very seriously, even now. 6 years ago it would just be 'Sure that's nice' *pat pat*.
