I personally loved Aya's route in LxC. Really good combination of a turbo-loner protagonist with a turbo-loner antisocial heroine. The parts before the proper dating were great, with the two hardly even talking and just playing against each other in an arcade. Though it's the only route I played and I hear certain other routes have some really shitty contrived drama. Aya's also has some drama towards the end, but it's not very long.

LxC2 is however still the best game with best heroines, and pretty much does away with all drama, though I personally disliked how it and the later games in the series made the protagonist more of a blank slate.
