/jp/, Relative normalfriend here.
Tonight, I was helping my girlfriend revise for her Psych exam, when she brought up a few things that made me think of the majority of this board.
Firstly: Learned Helplessness - this is a term for a state of helplessness in which humans or animals learn that escape from something is painful and or impossible, resulting in depression. (e.g. escaping from problems will more than likely be painful and/or impossible, the more frequent this is the more likely you are to give up and become depressed.)
This reminds me of /jp/ because I notice you tend to dismiss "3dPD" on the basis that "Every single girl/woman is a slut" and focus almost solely on "2dWaifus" (This is what's known as an escape mechanism).
Secondly: Of the top ten attributes of a healthy mind is sustaining a meaningful, love and loving relationship.
Again, reminds me of /jp/, cause I doubt many of you have significant others or have something resembling a meaningful, love and be loved relationship (It's a generalization, please prove me wrong), and ergo, you're missing out on one of of the things that provides a healthy mind.

TL;DR: A lot of you are potentially mentally imbalanced, and I urge you, please, for the sake of yourself, get help. Or at least try again with 3d.

It's ok anon, I understand your desire. The real world is shitty beyond belief, and it seems like there's no way to repair it. It'd be nice to go to some sort of Mystic Eastern Wonderland, but I'm afraid it's just out of our reach. Really, the only thing you can do is get high or kill yourself. There's always Lucid Dreaming I suppose but... well good luck with that.

I, too, would like to go to Gensokyo to live out the rest of my life, short or otherwise. But we never get what we want, do we.
