On the more serious side... probably not. As far as I know, the common mythos which oni are part of only reaches Western Siberia, somewhere around Ukraine or Kazhakstan. And around there they're only even barely recogniseable as oni-like anymore.
Got to remember that oni are a very specific evolution of a much older mythology. Got some variation in basically every East Asian country, but oni that are actually called oni and look like the popular ide of oni are specific to Japan.

Oni generally avoid modern technology - they don't enjoy "cheating" from the humans' side. And though a bit of it is probably just out of spite, it's pretty clear that oni, who rely on brute force, would eventually get overtaken by humans.
Although some artists make it look like Yuugi could take a tank shell in the gut and barely notice...

I don't like Yugi.
