If you haven't already one thing that really worked for me was to start tracking my calories throughout the day. Now this isn't something you have to do forever, but it really gives you a more accurate idea as to how much you really do eat in a day. And combined with that find your TDE (plenty of calculators online, they aren't perfect but they will probably be good enough to get started) and start with a 500 calorie deficit from your maintenance calorie level and try to slowly build new eating habits that you can keep up long term, instead of jumping from fad diet to fad diet. Also what >>35060756 said, intermittent fasting can definitely work quite well alongside watching your calories.
