Does anyone else wish that you could rescue a depressed Japanese salary man and bring him back to the Land of the Free with you?

You could teach him how to shoot guns and then ride horses together through the vast and beautiful open lands of America. You could teach him how to love life for the first time.

Have you ever been visited by a job youkai?

Job youkai are the spirits of former humans, usually salary men, who died from overwork or committed suicide from the stress of working so much. The hatred in their souls is directed towards the people that they feel cheated the system and managed to find happiness without working, so as youkai they wander the earth searching for NEETs.

If you have ever felt feelings of anxiety or depression for no apparent reason then what you may have been feeling was actually the curse of a job youkai who is dwelling in your home.

This is a photograph of a man that was taken moments before he leaped off the side of his office building and took his own life. He now exists as a job youkai.

Jobs are fucking awful. Why would you want to end up like this guy?

There's no reason why you should have to work a full eight hours unless you're hopelessly addicted to a cushy consumer lifestyle and you can't live without a few luxuries.

I'm living comfortably on less than $500 a month and I could even make some cuts to my budget if I needed to and live off $200 or $300. With the internet there are so many ways to make money without needing to imprison yourself in the 9-5 slavewage grind.

For example, I just take pictures. I love it and it only takes a couple hours once or twice a week. I grab my camera and I head into the woods or to some other place and just enjoy the day. I take macro shots of insects, pictures of particularly pretty areas of the woods, pictures of turtles and frogs, occasionally I get lucky and I can take some pictures of some deer without them spotting me and running off. It's great fun, it's like hunting and exploring but without the killing.

I can take those pictures and I sell some of them to those stock photo websites and the rest I just throw on a few different blogs I made so I can get money from the ads on the page.

They just numb all of your emotions. You'll still be able to work, but they make you feel hollow and emotionless. You can still work just as efficiently, but you won't enjoy anything and you will be too apathetic to kill yourself.

Most normal people are already so miserable with their mountains of debt that have forced them to spend most of their lives slaving away in jobs that they despise that taking a pill that makes them stop wanting to kill themselves seems like a miracle cure.

To any sane and happy person this pill is just apathy in a capsule, but when your life is so shit that the only sensible course of action is suicide (average normie's life) then they work great.

Living in Japan must be so terrible. I can't imagine how painful it must be.

Modern work is terrible in every first world country, it's all robotic and mindnumbing, but if you live in the U.S or any large country then you know that you can always run away. You can always just take to the road and run as far away as you possibly can and start a new life on the other side of the country if you want.

What can you do in Japan though? Small island country with a high population density, the intense pressure of Japan's social obligations and their introverted clique-based social structure makes it difficult to just grab all of your things and run away. I would feel like I was suffocating if I lived in Japan. I'd eventually just jump off a building or hurl myself onto the train tracks.

I hope that everyone who died in there was just worthless salarymen.

It would be very depressing if any NEETs or cute virgin girls died.

It's that time again... Salarymen get in here how was your day.

Poor harrychan had to work so hard and nobody even noticed.

I don't even think Mr Ying understands that harrychan does %90 of the work.

I do try I work till my Alk Phos is riased and my bones hurt ( Probably cancer about bloody time ) but harrychan has to clean up all my beginer mistakes.

I think it would benefit me and my company if I just jump'd from the 7th floor but they installed the nets around the windows so it is not possible.
