I hated the original CoM and thought it was both a massive downgrade from KH1 AND 90% a rehash of KH1 back on the GBA and still do. If not for the fact that Unchained and Re:Coded exists, I would consider it to be the worst game in the entire series.

The PS2 remake of CoM was a polished turd.

KH2's story is kind of shit, the way the main cast and core allies (except Riku) are handled makes them kind of flanderized and retarded, (especially Sora, his brain had to have shrunk about half while he was in that pod), but the XIII crew are such endearing chucklefucks I can't help but love them, they chew the fuck out of that scenery almost as much as a classic Disney villain does. KH2's gameplay has aged beautifully too, and the KH2FM randomizer community is taking that gameplay to it's fullest potential.
