You're free to disagree with us/feel the way you do about us but I'm not sure if what you're describing about us is true. What do you think is our reasoning behind what constitutes a hag? We definitely don't slap the label on any and every 30 year old and have long stressed that age has little to do with being one. If anything, you'd probably find more instances of us echoing your general sentiment, especially when we see studios like Madonna tagging Nao Jinguji as a Mature Woman etc.
Also, I'm not even sure what you mean by our supposed "category fluidity spiel". The subdivisions offer nuance and we're loose with the labels because being prescriptivist isn't helpful in this context. We're categorising women of varying degrees of maturity and grouping them together to make it easier to find and recommend comparable actresses to discuss and enjoy. There's literally nothing empirical here like horsepower or whatever that can be used to achieve this aim so why/how would we be more rigid or "scientific" than necessary?
