What are they confirming that it takes so long.

How do you guys continue with this? I'll be honest, I used to spend so much time on this general/thread, immersing myself in the concept of being a lover to a beautiful monster girl, but after awhile, the illusion faded away, and I lost hope and anything remotely similar would ever happen. And it's a damn shame too, because I would give anything to be a great father, or husband, but all of the women I see just leave me with a sense of distrust/disgust. I want to divulge myself in this again, but it seems so meaningless now. I want to know how you guys manage to continue, so maybe one day I can do the same.
