You know what I hate? I hate higurashi faggots that pussify and add moe to the story. It's grim and dark and deals with insanity, lust, inhumane torture and cruelty to the highest level. It shows the true ugliness of humans (in this case villagers) when they've got their backs against the wall and everything to lose. Why add sunshine and NIPAH to this deliciously dark tale?
