for those of you who use monolingual definitions on your cards, do you try to memorize the definition for each word?

if not, how do you decide whether or not you correctly remembered a word beyond just its 読み方?

so whatever came of that itazuraneko survey?

Anyone got any suggestions for Japanese content I can put on my MP3 player so I can get some learning done on the go?

Two ideas I had were podcasts and drama CDs, but I've never really bothered with either of these things in the past so I don't know of any good ones.

I've got a lot of Japanese music I could put on there (and probably will), but I don't think music is very helpful for learning.
