Sounds like the most basic bitch advice you could give, it also doesn't take into consideration that a lot of things can be considered wasteful.
Nothing is wasteful if it;
A. Is within your expense budget, i.e doesn't put you in a bad financial position
B. Is something you wish to do and brings you enjoyment, no matter how irrational this is for others
This slut just said the same thing anyone says when it comes to spending money on something they themselves don't see a reason to spend on.
I think spending money on extremely expensive clothes every month is fucking stupid but it isn't wasteful for the person as long as they follow A and B.
