tldr alert.

Akarin as the next "top seiyuu" seems pretty doubtful as there are LOTS of contenders and competition to the title (Inorin, Koga Aoi, Miku Itou, even Tomoriru etc). IDK but she's pretty much in the same situation as Koga Aoi now. Both previously unknown VAs who suddenly got one time big time jackpot straight up into popularity since they just got happened to be starred in top notch anime. In short, they're lucky bastards. However that doesn't mean it'll last long...

Her (or their) popularity is now solely dependent on how the current media industry around treats & portrays her. it's straightforward: if she's worth the time; is popular and relevant, they'll keep milking her to oblivion. If it's the opposite then they won't or try to deprioritise her since its pretty risky to their business. It just boils down to national media exposure and consumer trends & also, if their fanbase is still up and kicking (esp. if they're rich or just devoted to buy pretty much anything related to their seiyuufu companies throw at them).

Or if akarin's producer seems to favor her above others then thats her one way ticket to heaven. as you won't have to worry about competition.

If they don't get roles, media coverage or shit, or get a role in a mediocre/shit tier anime, they'll gradually suffer their own bust. They might still be quite popular and memorable though, mostly as B-rated seiyuus. They'll probably never reach KanaHana or Ayachi levels of popularity unless they were happened to be casted in another big role.

Maybe just give them 3-4 roles in some top tier anime/dubbing role/or whatever, or probably give them much media coverage (even an Animelo guest appearance or new music albums) then your seiyuufu will be immortalised among the pantheon of seiyuu goddesses.

Or... just do the "obvious" and reap the benefits from it instead, as per usual. Besides if them producers don't believe you've got what it takes then you've gotta show em if you're any worth. Just make sure no one knows.
