maybe it's because yoga wants his reputation to be somewhat salvaged and a public apology from matt might go a long way. and hey yoga might be more lenient in his legal response (assuming yoga still plans on going through with it) if matt acknowledges he was a panicky little asshole dweeb who didn't know what he was doing.
