Seriously, what happened to the denizens of One Yukkuri Place? It seems like a good chunk of the population here now hate yukkuri with extreme vitriol, far more than /jp/. There's constantly long rants of justification of and cheering for heinous torture to them. I have no issue with fictional depictions themselves of course, but it surprises me how much some people here apparently hate yukkuri with a passion that makes /jp/'s reaction to Katawa Shoujo look tame by comparison.

Seeing the nice yukkuris being tortured actually saddens me more than seeing the actual Touhou characters raped or whatnot, because while the doujins are just singular non-canon fanfiction and the characters will always be back happy as ever in other works and in canon, individual yukkuri lives begin and end in the work they appear in. Some are actually kind and try their best, but came into and out of existence for the sole purpose of a gruesome death. Even though they are treated as mass producing replaceable, some definitely have unique personalities, such as the poor baby Alice that got pecked to death by birds while protecting "onii-shannn's" food. It is sad when the nice ones who don't deserve unkindness are systematically killed anyways. No one cares about their existence.
