Well Ikusa Megami Zero/Verita is pretty close, but everything else is far away.

well, if you hear postive things only, then you could say that it's good without asking really. It has few small problems, but mostly it's one great package, definately one of the best there is by almost anyones standards as it has almost something for everyone.

Definately Baldr Sky, well atleast for me as it has claimed my favorite VN ever title for me.

But generally this year has been really good eroge year. I'd say that the top spot would go for either one of these:
Baldr Sky
Muramasa
Steins;Gate
Mugen Kairou 2 (well this is more of an love it or hate it deal, so don't know should it be considered)

Also other great titles that came out this year are probably Oretsubasa, Majikoi, Kitto Sumiwataru Asairo Yori mo (but as you said it has some hate due to it), Tapestry. Altough these are great but they quite haven't had as good reception as the four before.

Best eroge of the year already decided or is there anything promising coming out this year?
Because I just finished Baldr Sky and it was seriously amazing, the survival mode is kicking my ass though.
