I've been playing Mechwarrior Online. The game is good, but the community is filled with the dumbest, worst players I have ever met. In every match, anyone I've fought before immediately singles me out and prioritizes me over everything else because I usually top the scoreboards with like 80% of the kills of the enemy team. People have been copying my playstyle and builds, and to test this I started using some really stupid ones and--surprise surprise--people started using those, too. I might just be imagining it, though. Maybe I'm just egotistical.

It's really embarrassing to play the game because I know my teammates all just immediately die and then watch in awe as I solo everything. They see me do things and then mimic me, and I know this because I see the same people who died and spectated me in later matches on the enemy team, trying to use those same tactics on me.

It's not all bad. There are some good players. Mostly, though, the community is just really bad. I'm waiting for more game modes to be released before I take the game seriously.

When the game is officially released, I could see /jp/ playing it. I could see most boards playing it, actually. /m/, /vg/, /v/, /jp/, maybe /tg/. I'm going to start a mercenary company up proper as soon as I'm able, so if anyone is interested in playing the game, keep that in mind.
