I don't even care that much about most of the retcons but it retconned the fucking fashion into just generic looking kimonos and akyuu is the only character who wears anything even slightly more interesting
LE and CDS have mostly stuck to that too, though at least there's waitress costumes from time to time
the two girls on the left here have more inventive costumes than all the villagers in FS put together
what makes it more depressing is that moe harukawa absolutely loved drawing pretty girls and pretty clothes, or she wouldn't have put so much detail into minor things like footwear choice, but she didn't do it on the background characters which makes it feel less real to me
