Yea I am already beginning to see some patterns. It seems getting a feel for the language is much more important than just brute memorization. Suppose that is why people here always recommend as much exposure as possible.

I'm well aware. It's just that by learning keywords all the vocabulary meanings stick a lot better because it hooks into already existing memories y'know? Now I can focus on readings instead of being overwhelmed by readings AND meanings.
