Not him, but it took me around two streams or so to get into them. Then again, I kinda ignored the hype(Which was really easy during Amelia's Superliminal stream since the global thread was nothing but massive walls of Goslings so there wasn't anything to talk about anyway) and enjoyed the videos for what they were. They all kinda stumble at the idol part to differing degrees, but what surprised me was that they all put in a lot more effort than I'd come to expect from ENtubers. If you're not coming in with slightly lower expectations, I suspect you'll be disappointed for a lot of them, especially the hyped-up bratty shark who is incredibly green at actually streaming(which she admitted to last time). I'm excited to see them all improve and I hope you can give them a chance.
