For me, the weight gain isn't so important, though I agree it contributes to how much she now looks like a different person. The hair is the "worst" in my opinion because her hime cut was truly iconic, without it she doesn't stand out as special. Her unique cuteness was the combination of a unique face, which is not so unique anymore with the weight gain "filling in the contours", but I believe mainly it's an illusion. Her unique hair enhanced her unique face, and without it, even her face looks different and more "normal". If I saw her in real life, now I'd think "cute girl" but forget within a week. Previously, with the hime cut, if I had seen her in real life, it would've been a very memorable encounter. Of course it wasn't completely unique, sometimes you may see a girl with that hair, but together with her strange and "ugly in a cute way, therefore cute" face it made her special, and within JAV very special.
