Serial Experiments Lain. While objectively it probably isn't the best anime I've watched (although it is certainly one of the top shows around, it kind of saddens me when I rewatch it and realize it isn't as incredibly good as I remember it being in my memory) it is definitely my personal favorite and will most likely always remain that.

To call Lain my waifu would be exceedingly conceited of me, she is more than that.
