Quite honestly I wish I could erase my memory of that game so I could play it for the first time again.

The hotel just isn't scary anymore since I have all the scripted events memorized and know what to do and where to go. The first time I played the game I had just finished a long, hard semester, it was the last day and I was running on two hours of sleep from the previous night, it was about 2 or 3 AM, in my room with the lights off, in the middle of a dark and windy winter night and it really added to the ambiance of that location.
