I created a custom NPC that has over eighty thousand health, has the metal damage reduction, and spams the absorb magic special action. I'm able to safely increase any of my pet's attack skills very fast by having them attack the NPC while I hide behind a wall (so the animation is skipped) with Fetter of Earth equipped.
