Want to learn more about nature but are unsure how to do it? Consider Greenworms! You could probably guess that Greenworms would be familiar with nature, but many people have a hard time invisioning how these cute little mamono could help them to learn more about it in turn. They can actually provide much more insight than you would have initially thought! First off, if you're more of a book learner, Greenworms can be useful in understanding the material at hand much better. By reading out loud to your Greenworm, you can better understand the material yourself by hearing it out loud while you go through it, which you can go back and re-read if it comes out confusing. Also by explaining it to your Greenworm, she can ask questions that you can use to better deepen your understanding of it. On top of that, Greenworms themselves are somewhat walking encyclopedias of forest life, meaning that they can clarify certain parts or even tell you about specific things they've seen from where they've lived! All of this is not to undermine the ability of Greenworms to contribute to in-the-field learning about nature. As they are specifically adapted to exploring the forest, these little critters are great exploration buddies. Wondering what might be living up in that tree? Your Greenworm can go up and take a look for you, and if the tree is large enough, even throw down a rope so you too can see what's up there (not responsible for embarrassed Ratas)! Wonder what could be growing under that hollowed stump? Your Greenworm can slink underneath and take a nice picture for you! The possibilities are endless! I actually had the itch to learn more about a certain topic, and you guessed it, Greenworms! I went to the local library with my Greenworm and checked out plenty of books to learn more about our little green friends. The two of us sat together in a private study room at the library and looked through our fat stack of reference books together. We started with an encyclopedia of various Greenworm types, looking at the various colors, shapes, and sizes these little cuties come in. As we went, we pointed out the various pluses and minuses that various Greenworms have when it comes to different tasks. My Greenworm must have known how much I enjoyed comparing the various types of worms, as she asked me what my absolute favorite one was when we made it to the end. I thought for a second, and told her that she was my favorite Greenworm. It's true! Looking at the various pictures, none of them made me feel warm inside like looking at my beloved roommate Greenworm does! Later on she began to doze off and I started to read on my own through another Greenworm reference book. I didn't know that Greenworms actually mature into Papillons! I guess it makes sense, seeing as they're somewhat similar to caterpillars. Apparently, when they find a person they truly love, they will take them and form a cocoon with them, where they mature into beautiful Papillon. While it would be painful to see my little Greenworm change into something else, I believe that she would be most beautiful Papillon in the world when she eventually finds someone for her. Deep down I hope that, when she does find someone, she finds somebody who truly cares for her like I do, she deserves it! After skimming through the remainder of the books, I went back home with my Greenworm and felt much more knowledgeable about the mamono that calls my place home. I'm sure that you too can learn a lot more about whatever nature topic you want to know more about with the fantastic assistance of your Greenworm!
