My theory is due to normalfag gaining some benefit from consuming Japanese media.

My 2nd theory is butterfly effect. One careless otaku consuming stuff in public place, normalfag friend of his asking, said otaku explain some stuff, normalfag friend asking for a copy( which sadly, without even realizing copyright problem).

Otaku tend to keep it secret, but normalfag have this urge to tell the wolrd about sligthest things they found.
