So getting back to a hypothetical eroge, do you think it'd be better from Battler's POV or from the girls'?
I think it'd be easier to explore the main focus of the game if it didn't follow Battler's POV, and instead followed the chosen route's girl(s) try and win him over, perhaps after fighting over him so much he pushes them away and sulks in his study (Like grandfather like grandson).
Probably not for the full thing, that'd be weird, but at the very least a decent section of the preamble would probably be best written like that, and switching back to Battler's thought train in scenes he's witnessing the setup you've just been privy to.
