I'm a Eurofag living in Japan and I'm scared as shit.

I got an email from my internet provider, BigGlobe KKDI. Long story short, an American Copyright agency contacted them because I was supposedly downloading games and stuff. It is quite strange cuz I of course download things, but I have NOT, NEVER EVER dwloaded the game they accuse me of (Splinter Cell).

Is it even legal for them to monitorize my activities? Is this a hoax? has anybody had a similar problem here in Japan?

Of course, myt internet provider, japanese to the bone, does not offer me any kind of guidance other than "deleting the illegal file" (which I am not even in possesion of, to begin with) and "contact he American agency in case of doubt".

Am I pretty much fucked?
