AKB gravure was a paradigm shift.
Until them idols stripping was against ethics and it happened only after their popularity started declining, but now it's idols on the rise who strip left and right.
Gravure idols all have nice bodies and that's nice, but AKB had a more next-door and vivid feel, and they allowed us to see different types of young female bodies with that.
