She honestly did. I wouldn't be surprised if she spent every single moment checking all her friends, every single person in the village, every nugget of space and found absolutely nothing over and over.
The issue is that most of the relevant useful information outside of her friends turning insane, such as Tokyo's inner working and Takano's backstory, was unknown to everyone and Takano never spoke of it.
And the fact that Takano's body died earlier was always passed off as a glitch or human error that it never made its way to Rika's ear. Not to mention that information always came out the day before Rika died, which makes it even less likely that Rika could have ever find that out.
Not to mention that Rika never bothered to ask what happened to the village when she died, because, honestly, do you care what happens to the world after you die? You're not there to experience it. So Rika never saw it as a motive in any possible way.

All she knew was that there was no conspiracy like everyone thought there were, the people protecting her were randomly dying by an unknown X at a certain point for no reason, and no one took her warnings seriously enough to protect her.

I also suspect that if Rika tried intervened in the death of Takano and Tomitake, she would be attacked, subdued and forget everything about it. I truly think that preventing those two deaths was absolutely impossible for her and she would never be able to remember how they were killed due to the Yamainu keeping watch.
